What BookMo is

BookMo is an AI-powered Facebook Messenger receptionist. When a patient sends a clinic's Facebook Page a message — at 2 in the morning, on a Sunday, during a national holiday — BookMo replies in Filipino or English within seconds. It answers common questions, books consultations, and hands the conversation off to real staff when needed.

We built BookMo specifically for the Philippine market: aesthetic clinics, dermatology clinics, dental clinics, and similar practices that live and die by Facebook Messenger as their primary inquiry channel.

Why this exists

Roughly 60% of the messages that arrive at a typical Metro Manila clinic Page come outside working hours. Patients don't wait. If nobody answers their inquiry by the next morning, most of them have already booked elsewhere.

Clinics know this. They've tried Facebook's built-in auto-replies, hiring virtual assistants, or asking front-desk staff to check the inbox from home. None of those solutions scale, and all of them either miss messages or exhaust staff.

BookMo was built to close that gap without adding a person to the payroll.

What we deliberately don't do

• We don't give medical advice. When a patient asks a clinical question — about symptoms, medications, treatment outcomes — BookMo refuses to answer and offers to book a consultation with the clinic's actual doctor instead.
• We don't invent prices. Every price the bot quotes ties back to a price list the clinic gave us. If the clinic hasn't given us a price, the bot says so and books a consultation.
• We don't lock clinics into annual contracts. Month-to-month subscriptions, cancel anytime, no penalty.
• We don't hide what the software does. Clinic owners see the bot's conversation logs. Patients can request full transcripts of their own messages under the Data Privacy Act.
